PLTMax Research Grade

PLTMax Research Grade consist of human platelet lysate (hPL), a cell culture supplement that is a superior alternative to fetal bovine serum (FBS).

• Derived from normal human donor platelets collected at U.S. blood centers
• Reduces supplementation (5% or less supplementation compared to 10% or more FBS and Human AB Serum)
• Increases cell growth kinetics to reduce cell doubling time
• Animal serum-free and xeno-free
• For additional use in endothelial cells, T cells, NK cells, tumor cells, iPSCs, and more
• Cost-effective alternative to serum-free media supplements
• Pharmaceutical grade heparin for injection is added in the manufacturing process of PLTMax to minimize coagulation
• First commercially-available human platelet lysate developed as an animal serum-free, cell culture supplement
