This is a Wnt signaling inhibitor. IWR-1 stabilizes a complex (consisting of Axin2, Apc, Ck1 and Gsk3β) that degrades beta catenin and promotes decomposition of beta catenin.
It has been examined by endotoxins and mycoplasma tests.
