      Improved Stability for Consistent Performance

Cell growth is comparable to BalanCD CHO Feed 4 and supported with liquid feed stored for 6 weeks. Cell growth (viability and viable cell density [VCD]) was measured in CHO DG44 fed-batch cultures using BalanCD CHO DG44 growth medium supplemented with BalanCD CHO Feed 4 (1X, freshly prepared), BalanCD CHO Feed 4 Evo (1X, freshly prepared), or BalanCD CHO Feed 4 Evo (1X, prepared and stored at 2–8°C for 6 weeks). Hydrated powder feed media (containing 20 g/L glucose) was supplemented with 28 g/L glucose at the time of hydration. Feeding strategy was the same for all 3 feeds. Refer to recommended protocol for additional feeding strategy details.
